The name C-XF stands for a concept version of the forthcoming Jaguar XF sedan. The XF model will replace the S-Type in year 2008 and is intended to compete with BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class sedans. Jaguar C-XF concept car is a four-seater that is powered by an enhanced version of a sophisticated and powerful 4.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that is capable of producing 420 horse power (309kW) and 400 lb-ft of torque. This racing engine accompanied by a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox (with Jaguar Sequential Shift manual gear-change capability) delivers superb sporting performance. Note that C-XF is a concept car with top speed electronically limited to 155 mph, if it were a production car, it could reach an unrestricted speed of 180 mph without the electronic limitations.
